Exchange 2003 Logging
Hi All, I have inherited an Exchange 2003 environment at my new job. It is in mid migration to Exch 2010. I ahve a problem with one of the LOG drives filling up. The logs going to this drive are IIS, SMTP Virtual Server and the messaging logs. No DB transaction logs are on this drive. The messageing logs are set to remove after 7 days, however the other two logs do not have fields to set removal times. How can i set these files to delete after 7 days. Also my message tracking is not working (i cleared space on the drive by moving some files). are the messaging files used for the message tracking or is it the SMTP Virtual Server logs. Could me not be able to use message tracking be a permissions error? An error is not shown when i try and use message tracking, it just keeps trying to look for the message. thank you in advance.

Thanks all for your help. Message Tracking was working, i was just being impatient. It took about 5 minutes for reslts to show up. I had already created a 50 GB LUN that were used for all three of these logs. I am am using forfiles to delete any IIS logs older than 7 days. Message tracking logs delete after 7 days (set in the GUI). Thank you all for your help.
