Exchange 2003 Mailbox Size Limit Limitation?
Hi All, I find that I cannot enter a value greater than 7 digits (i.e, 10000000 kb) in the mailbox limits field in the AD user object. I want to set a limit (11GB, for example) for my large-size mb users, but I can't go above 9999999 kb. The field seems like it won't accept any more numbers. Is this a real limitation, or is there something strange going on with my system? I'm running Exchange 2003 SP2 and my AD rev is Win2000 (still, I know, I know, I'm moving AD to 2003 soon) Thanks for any help you can provide! Jeff

There's a 2GB limit when using ESM, but you can work around this by writing the information directly into the AD attributes using, e.g. ADSIEdit. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/930366 Tony www.activedir.org

Thanks very much for the info, Tony - I will go thru ASDIEdit. Have a great one! Jeff
