Exchange 2003 Message Tracking not working as expected
Hi all,Setup:Exchange 2003 Enterprise clustered - 3 active, 1 passiveIssue:When performing a message track say from all email sent to johndoe from Feb. 1 - Feb 17 it returns ten results...say from Feb. 2 - 3. However the user has received more than this. (When I do a MT on Feb. 5, 6 etc...messages do show as well but not when using the date range of the 1st to the 17th)Question:Why wouldn't the message track interface show all received email?Past Note:- A call was logged with MS awhile back and they mentioned that we need to select the server that the user mailbox is on and not every server...this was done during that call and solved the issue, but it has returned.- Had an issue in which we couldn't see the mt's at all and had to increase the IRPStackSize

If your issue has returned they can reopen your call for you. You can simply write back to the engineer you worked with or call him directly to his extension. Yet, I am not sure if the PSS policies on reopening the case have changed. Once again if you want to go that way then you need to make sure the issue is exactly simillar to what they helped you fixing and then it has returned. Now, before that you can do a bit of home work if you like ;-) 1. Check if you have settings configured to retain the message tracking log files. This would be normally 14 days by default. 2. Check the IRPStackSize value again and fix it if it has changed for any reason.Milind Naphade | MCTS:M | http://www.msexchangegeek.com
