There is no need to configure OWA access unless you have done any changes to the default web site or such. You could simply point incoming traffic for the new domain to the Exchange server. Have you tried and tested that? Also, if you are using a certificate with the old domain name specified you must create a new certificate and replace the old one. Dear Martin, Thanks for your immediate reply, i am not taking about pointing traffic to new domain. My requirement is i just want to access exchange OWA with new URL i.e http://webmail.xxx2.com/exchange. And also i don't have any SSL certificate installed in front end server. Thanks in advance. cheers gowtham

I agree to what Martin said Basically , create the DNS record and point it to correct ip, then change the firewall rule so it applies to the new server And also like Martin wrote, don't forget to include the new name in the certificate ( or create a new one )Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog

Thank you for all sharing! Modify default Exchange 2003 OWA url: 1. Start IIS Manager 2. Right click on the “Default Web Site” and choose “Properties”. 3. Click on the “Home Directory” tab. 4. Change the first option to “A redirection to a URL”. 5. Enter “/exchange” in to the box (minus quotes) 6. Change the entry below to “A directory below URL entered”. 7. Click Apply/OK. If you are prompted about changing child objects, click cancel so that nothing else is changed. 8. Close the IIS Manager. 9. Test. Please also create a DNS record for this new URL or add a new record to host file: Root: C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts New entry: IP address webmail.xxx2.comYour expertise never fails to impress!
