Hello there, I have a window server 2003 Sp2 with exchange 2003sp2 with epo 4.5 by mcafee.My problems is the database is quite huge its has been 285 last week then up to today it has increase to 370gb and still increasing.Last week we had enable circular logging b'se the hdd was full due to failed backup then enable circular logging the next day.Since then i cant do full ntbackup and the hdd size is decreasing due to increase in exchange database. Please anyone with the suggestion on how solve this problem cause am remainig with only 75gb in size.N dnt know what to do. My email. eleshabari@ulitanz.com bulla

If all else fails, Have users exit Outlook and if that doesnt work, dismount the store before it runs out of space. If things get critical, call Microsoft support and then can get soem dumps from you and track down the culprit.

Exmon is very useful when trying to determine the root cause of unexplained database growth. J
