Exchange 2003 Server Standard Edition
Hi - I work at United Way and we have Exchange 2003 standard edition. We are going to be merging with other United Ways soon and temporarily they want to be added to my exchange server. I will only be creating them as contacts and using "smtp" to forward to their current email address. By doing this, I want to be sure that this will not take up storage space. I wouldn't think it would but I am not sure if just creating a contact will add to the storage usage. Please advise. Thanks, Peggy

If you are just adding contacts for forwarding then the email doesn't even touch your store. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources
