Exchange 2003 Stability Issues
Just a general question for the forums. Since early October 7 of our 9 clusters have experienced one or more failures. Some related to memory, some related to HTTP Virtual Server service crashes and others that have yet to be fully
identified. Overall our environment was rock solid for a few years on Exchange 2003 with Windows 2003 clustering and all of a sudden we have random servers dropping on any given day. We have an open MS case that's been ongoing for 4 weeks and while
some good suggestions have been made we are suffering more and more outages.
I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this type of situation recently (specifically I am wondering if one of the August, September or October MS patches could have contributed to the instability). Short of going through each individual outage
and logs I am looking for feedback on an overall change in stability.
Any insight would be helpful.
