Exchange 2003 issue---Not able to add/modify smtp address for a user/contact
Hi, We are not able to add/modify smtp address to any user/contact in Active Directory Users and Computers (Windows 2003 Server). While trying, dsa.mmc stops to respond (not responding) and has to terminate from task manager only. Interstingly, we are able to create new mail box enabled users successfully. Kindly suggest...

Hi 1. Could be realted to an error locally on the server. 2. Have you tried another user on the same server. 3. Have you tried ADUC on another server or PC. 4. Have you tried on the Exchange server itself (ADUC). Sukh

Hi Sukhvir, Any updates? I think you do it in the ADUC installed on the Exchange 2003, right? Please check whether you can modify other properties successfully.
