Exchange 2003 language change
Dear all,I have an exchange 2003 organization in a AD 2003 Forest as follow.root.local in english ADfrance.root.local in French, the first exchange server was installed in this domain and the foresprep was done with a french exchange CD (also the adprep). After we added a domain usa.root.local and also an exchange 2003 server in english (adprep done in english). Now, I want to add exchange server in english in france.root.local to replace in the near future our french exchange servers (french and english exchange servers will work togerther during some weeks (time to migrate all mailboxes and front end servers). Is it full compliant ? Do I have to do a forestprep with english CD ? others ?I thank you in advance for your help and comments.Gilles

You can run Exchange Server in any environment, regardless of which language version of Windows 2000 Server you use
Based on the KB 325001, you can simply install the exchange server in English on the French.root.local

I thank you for your answer but the KB325001 only says that we can install Exchange in english on Windows in french for example. My concern is that I have in french.root.local 2 exchange servers in French (and first forestprep done in french) installed on french windows. And I will add in this exchange organization 2 exchange servers in english (on windows in english) and move mailboxes.I saw that some AD attributs as GAL name are in french in my AD so I'm not sure that it will works fine with english exchange on the same site.Gilles

I suggest you to install windows 2003 MUI on the new server, so they can recognize French and manage the value properly
