Exchange 2003 on SBS2003 - unable to install exchange SP1 or SP2
Hello, I have an Windows SBS 2003 SP2 with Exchange 2003. If I try to install SP1 or SP2 for exchange I get the following error : You must install exchange before apply service pack for Exchange .. But Exchange is installed and everything works well with exchange. We have 80 mailbox but there is 20 old mailbox (not in use). I don't know why I can install SP1 or SP2 for my exchange 2003. (On windows SBS the SP2 is installed but it's the sp2 for windows 2003 and not for exchange.) Thank's in advance

Hi, Please check if the SP2 of exchange 2003 has been installed on: Open ESM, click Help->About. The version of exchange 2003 sp2 is "6.5.7638.1". Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. This can be beneficial to other community members reading the thread. Thanks Gen Lin-MSFT

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I solved my problem. In fact it has been solved by adding some missing values in registry. After that it was possible to install Exchange SP2.
