Exchange 2003 problems with IIS
Hello,I am just about to pull out the last strands of hair that I have with this Exchange server. Here is the problem that I am facing:- The OWA Premium client does not work; it loads the mailbox but just displays "loading" whenever you navigate to any folders.- And this is the bigger of the two problems (I think), the OMA portion is not working either. When I navigate to this section I get a "Unable to connect to your mailbox on server SERVER. Please try again later. If the problem persists contact your administrator."Some other things to note; I did not set this server up initially, I just inherited it and its problems. From some of the things that were done, I believe that the person who initally set it up was very inexperienced. Anyhow, I have set up many Exchange servers before and troubleshot countless problems but these two have me stumped. Here is what I have done so far:-Followed the kb 817379; no luck-Emptied the IIS Tempory files-Compared the IIS settings on the /OMA directory to another server that I know works; settings are the same-Just recently, I uninstalled exchange and IIS from the server, renamed the inetpub and exchsrvr folder and then reinstalled both; same issue. This is currently presenting problems because they are not starting to integrate iPhones with activesync and mac's using Entourage. Neither the macs or the iphones can connect to the exchange server using the native protocols (have them running IMAP currently)Like I said, I dont know what else to do; the only other thing i can think of is the database being damaged but I dont know if that would promote the issues I stated; although I believe them to be interrelatedThis may help as well; this is the error log that shows up when I attempt to access OMA:The ID is 1805 and the source is MSExchangeOMARequest from userAdministrator@domain.localresulted in the Microsoft(R) Exchange back-end server SERVER returning an HTTP error with status code 405Response:Connection: closeDate: Wed, 05 Aug 2009 13:54:38 GMTServer: Microsoft-IIS/6.0X-Powered-By: ASP.NETMicrosoftOfficeWebServer: 5.0_PubContent-Type: text/htmlContent-Length: 1564MS-WebStorage: 6.5.7638Original Request:Content-Type: text/xmlDepth: 0Content-Length: 389Expect: 100-continueConnection: Keep-AliveHost: serverAny help at all is greatly appreciated. Regarding your OWA issue, did you consider disabling antivirus software from client and server temporarily if any?Vishal Ramnani | MCITP - Exchange 2007 | MCSE Messaging

Hi,Let's try to focus on the OWA issue first.1. Please verify if you can browse/Exchange virtual directoryin IIS manager. 2. If you cannot view the folders in OWA,then please try to follow the steps in article below to solve the problem.Troubleshooting OWA when the contents frame displays Loadinghttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/2808233. Please try to create a test website to verify if we have issue on IIS.How to: Create Local IIS Web Sites http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/tcywfea7(VS.80).aspx4. Moreover,we can try to run ExBPA to have a health check on Exchange Server.Regards,Xiu
