Exchange 2003 recipient policies
We're running Exchange 2003 SP2 and I have several (something like 20) recipient policies, each setup to delete mail older than 30 days for a given mailbox. We have two Exchange servers and when I setup these policies (all were setup in the span of a few days), I got e-mails from both servers showing that the policies had run and telling me how much mail was removed. Now I only get e-mail from one server and it appears (from checking one of the mailboxes), that the policies aren't all running or aren't completing because there was mail in the mailbox I checked from 2009. How do I begin to troubleshoot this? Thanks.

Hi Mhashemi, Per your description, the recipient policy for the mailboxs which hosted on one of mailbox servers did not run since 2009, right? I would check whether there are some event log on the exchange server? How about run the RUS manually, and then confirm the result. If the issue still exists, how about recreate a new policy and then apply on the mailbox on the issue server, and then make some tests. Regards!
