Exchange 2003 rule management stopped working
Hi,A customer of mine just migrated from Exchange 2003 to another Exchange 2003 becouse they needed new hardware.All mailboxes, public folders and services has been migrated and we shall stop the exchange services for a few days on the old server to see that everything works before we uninstall the exchange.Rules that followed with the migration no longer works. If users recreate them they work for a few hours or days, then they stop working again.If we migrate the box to another database they work for a few hours or days.The same thing happends with Out-Of-Office. Don't know if they use the same rule-engine?!?The new Exchange 2003 server has all the newest patches.Any hits?ftornell

Hi,Did you try the new user account which is created on the new Exchange 2003? If the issue also exists on the new user account, the most likely cause is the database issue.If this issue only occurs on the migrated user, I suggest we try run Outlook /cleanrules and press Enter. Then, test this issue again.ThanksAllen
