Exchange 2003 std sp2 mailbox quota
I have a single exchange 2003 std sp2 server running on a W2K3 R2 server, I have about 120 mailboxes, the mailstore has grown massivley recently, where it is about 71GB close to reaching its size limit of 75GB. I have purged a lot of mailboxes and asked a lot of users to purge their mailboxes, I am monitoring the white space on a daily basis at the moment. However I would like to setup groups of users and then assign quotas, i.e. mangers can have mailboxes up to 500MB, Sales Guys 300MB, Marketing 1GB, Workshop staff 100MB, etc is this possible in the version of exchange I am using.

Sorry, You can only increase upto 75 GB Limit in exchange 2003 STD edition. The database size limits for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition have been increased from 16 GB to 18 GB. The limit can be increased to as much as 75 GB by using a registry key. To increase your DB size you must have it to upgarde it into Enterprise level . How to increase the Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 18-gigabyte database size limit:: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912375Anil

Hi, Yes, you could leverage AdModify to do the job. Introduction to ADModify.net http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996216(EXCHG.65).aspx Download link: http://admodify.codeplex.com/ After launching it, please choose modify attributes. Fill domain list and Domain Controller List, click “Custom LDAP Query” and filter the user you want to modify in batch(or you could choose them directly from the right pane by hold “ctrl” key). Click next, locate at Exchange Features | Storage Limits. Hope this helps. Thanks, Elvis
