Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010
I am moving (transition) our exchange 2003 Sp2 server to Exchange 2007 SP3. Exchange 2003 Sp2 is installed on W2K3 SP2 server. Exchange 2007 Sp3 is installed
on Windows 2008 R2 in high availability configuration. HUB and CAS roles are installed on Single server. Mailbox server is clustered (CCR) (two node cluster with FWS). I created few users and moved them to Exchange 2007 server for testing. Everything went
well as planned.
Then I was suddenly asked to check possibility of moving to Exchange 2010 SP1. Since we don’t have any extra hardware I will have to use hardware purchased
for Exchange 2007 servers.
What will be correct step to achieve this?
Is it necessary to re-RUN AD and schema preparation commands?
Can I uninstall exchange 2007 SP3 and redeploy those servers with Exchange 2010?
Please advice

If you already have SP3 then it would have taken care of Schema Update atleast.....Yes you can also use the same hardware for e2k10 as it was for e2k7..but
remember with e2k10 the storage need have come down drastically because of matuarity at application layer itself so you can reduce TCO with ek10 by the way.
