Hi,
Yes, that should be available with no configuration if the exchange servers are installed in the same organization.

It is not working in our coexistence environment (exchange 2003 and exchange 2010)
What troubleshooting steps can be done , so that
Exchange 2003 user -- can see free busy information of a exchange 2010 user
Exchange 2010 user --- can see free busy information of a exchange 2003 user

Maybe a bit more information from you about what you mean by
"coexistence" would be helpful.
Are 2003 and 2010 in the same AD forest?
Does the 2010 server have a public folder database? Does your RGC
allow for public folder referrals?
Are you using Outlook 2007 and 201o clients or are there older client
versions being used?
Remember, Exchange 2003 doesn't know about getting F/B info directly
from a mailbox (IOW, 2003 has no CAS, just F-E serevers). So you're
going to have to have public folders on the 2010 server so clients
have the F/B data available.
