In a test lab so I can configure and test FIM GAL Sync, I want to install and Exchange 2003 server using a 2008 DC, my problem is NNTP, exchange 2003 wants it but 2008 DC uses IIS 6 and it does not have NNTP, so I cannot install Exchange 2003 (Server 2003) is there a solution to this situation? I have no problem with the domain, the Exchange server is connected to the domain, now the domain and forest is at 2008 level, but what does does that have to do with IIS 6 and the fact that I cannot trun on the NNTP service? When I try to install Exchange 2003 it stops with the fact that NNTP must be running or installed to install Exchange 2003. that is the point at which I fail. But I have reached the end of the line. Since I am going to be showing that FIM Gal Sync works I will not waste any more time on Exchange 2003.
