Exchange 2007
I am trying to install Exchange server 2007 on Windows server 2008 when installing Exchange it fails on i get an error Cannot calculate value of property "AdminDisplayVersion". SerialNumbers property is not present"Also can any one tell me what the network adaptor shoud be set to on the Wins tab should it be set to enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP of Defaultwe do not use Wins but in documentationthat i have readon one piece of documentation it say Disable NetBiosover TCP/IP on the Private netwrok adaptor and on others it is conflicting and saysEnableNetBiosover TCP/IPWould appreciate your commentsThanks

Hi,Is it setup of CCR mailbox role, If yes then you can check below work around:Using the Cluster Administrator (CluAdmin.msc), you can remove the CMS resource that was created during the failed Exchange setup, and then create the CMS computer account object manually and wait for it to replicate to the local AD site (remember than you need the cluster service account (CSA) full control to the new object). When you have created the object manually you simply re-run Exchange Setup and complete the installation as normal.Anil

Exchange 2007 does not needs WINS or Netbios...yo can safetly disable netbios over tcp/ip.. can you explian a llitle more the scenario...is a multirole, a cluster a HUBCapecolMCSA - MCTS Exchange Server 2007
