Hi, We have the Exchange 2007 server roles installed in a Microsoft virtual lab environment for acceptance testing. One of the virtual machines that was performing the Hub Transport role was deleted. This has left an orphan server in the Exchange Management Console. All the literature I have read says that the only way to remove a server instance from the console is by uninstalling Exchange from the server involved. Since this server has been deleted, this method is not available. So is there another way to remove this orphan server. thanks.

you could reinstall with setup /m:recoverserver (or maybe skip the /m) and uninstall cleanly or delete the server from the configuration container of AD with adsiedit.
