Exchange 2007: cannot see mailbox database files for admin accounts other than the "Administrator" account
When I create new users for my Exchange 2007 server, using the Exchange Management Console I have no problem seeing my mailbox database files when I use the Administrator account, and I can create new user mailboxes within those database files. However, when I use my own account that has admin rights, I cannot see the same Exchange 2007 mailbox database files. These are the same files that are listed under "Server Configuration" => Mailbox within the "Database Management" tab. Does anyone have any insight into what configuration setting / permission setting I have wrong?

Hello Tom,Did you assign any Exchange Admin role to your account to give Exchange permission? Minimum requirement is to have View Only admin role assigned.Permission Considerationshttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996881.aspxOr do you say that, you can not see edb files at the path mentioned there by browsing it in Windows Explorer?Amit Tank | MVP - Exchange | MCITP:EMA MCSA:M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
