Exchange 2007 -Mailbox move error
Hey folks,I have several mailboxes in my enviroment thatare still on Exchange 2003with the Server name as "configuration,dc=domainname,dc=local". When you try to move these questioned mailboxes, you receive an error " 'configuration,dc=domainname,dc=local' is not a valid value for the identity. Parameter name:identityThe users are workig fine in Exchange 2003 but I cannot move the mailboxes. As well, I search the schema for the Exchange Home server and the mailbox serverin question looks fine. All Exchange 2007 ESM show the 'configuration,dc=domainname,dc=local' for Server.Any help would be nice.thanks NLCRIBBYNLCribby

thanks folksSame issue happen using powershell.I'm figure it out after.. Using ADSI Edit I looked at a user that didn't have the wierd entry. Compare the two and they were off. Copy the good user info with the msExchHomeServerName and paste it into the bad user atrribute. replicated the domain.Magic , I can move the problem mailbox now. I have over 300 mailboxes like this so I'm using ADMODIFY to do so. NLCRIBBYNLCribby
