Exchange 2007 - External mail rejected to distribution group
Hello
We are currently experiencing problems receiving external mails to distribution groups on one of our exchange servers. I have made sure that to uncheck "require
that all senders are authenticated" but we are still receiving:
#550 5.7.1 RESOLVER.RST.AuthRequired; authentication required ##rfc822;dl@domain.tld (original address removed)
Our AD setup consist of a domain and a child domain. Exchange setup includes two exchange servers configured as hubs. They are physically in different parts of the
world.
If i create a distribution group at Exchange A in root domain, it works fine, but creating a distribution group at Exchange server B in child domain yields error message
above. Internally it works.
I have searched google dry without luck, any ideas?

Hi,
I think there is something to uncheck in the distribution group / restriction
I hope this will help you.

As i described, i have already made sure to uncheck require authentication under message delivery restrictions. It did
not solve the issue.

Hi,
Than I will suggest you that use the message tracking and get the results that where the message is ending up also check the event viewer and post here if there is something wrong in event viewer.
Regards.

Have you connected to a GC in BOTH domains (and to a GC in the AD
sites within those domains where there's an Exchange server) and
verified that the change has replicated?

Hi Jesper,
Please ren below cmdlet, and make a test:
remove-adpermission "connectorname" -user "Nt Authority\Authenticated Users" -extendedrights: ms-exch-smtp-accept-authoritative-domain-sender
Please also update your exchange for the latest version.
Regards!
