Exchange 2007 - HTML messages from specific senders to specific users received as Plain Text
The Problem: A specific sender outside our organization sends an HTML email to several recipients in our company. All recipients in our company the use same configuration and settings with Outlook 2003 on Win XP machines. We use Exchange 2007. One recipient consistently receives these messages in plain text while the rest of us receive them in HTML. Have checked and rechecked all the obvious Outlook settings for both sender and recipient. The affected recipient receives HTML from all other outside senders just fine. This happened once before between this same sender and this same recipient a couple years ago. At that time, oddly, when I installed Exchange SP2 the problem mysteriously disappeared. Now the issue has returned for unknown reasons. Because of the way the problem disappeared upon the SP2 install back then, I am suspicious that there is a mechanism there I'm not familiar with that may have some affect. Any troubleshooting guidance would be greatly appreciated.
