Exchange 2007 - Manage Delivery Restrictions - (Accept messages from) an AD Security Group?
Exchange Server 2007 SP1 Rollup 3 08.01.02.91.001 Is there a way to select a security group instead of an email account to add to the "Accept messages from -- only senders in the following list:" in the Message Delivery Restrictions tab? Path: EMC | Recipient Configuration | Distribution Group | <Group Name> | Message Delivery Restrictions tab I have not been able to search for groups when adding a sender. If this were possible it would be much easier to manage in our environment. Thanks!

In my experience, you have 2 options: -mail-enable the group you're trying to add -create a QBDG/DDG based on membership to that group, then add the QBDG/DDG to your authorized senders list good luck! jm

As josef mentioned, that security group should be mail enabled, otherwise it wont be listed. refer below link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb397214%28EXCHG.80%29.aspx Thiyagu | MCTS/MCITP - Exchange 2007 | MCSE 2003[Messaging] | http://www.myExchangeWorld.com. Thanks for your help. I was not able to see the security group in question, but could select a newly created distribution group. It tested and worked. Thanks again!
