Exchange 2007 - Users randomly asked for password in Outlook when using cached mode
Users have always used Online mode in Outlook but we recently switched a few users to Cached mode. For the users using Cached mode, they are randomly getting a popup prompt for their password. They don't need to enter anything they can just hit cancel and everything works fine but it is annoying the users. Would enabling Outlook diagnostics help to diagnose the issue? How can we determine the cause /resolution of these password prompts?

Sorry I was out for a while. I'll check those links. They should all have the latest version of Outlook installed. The workstations are auto-patched, I can try the hotfix on one system and see if it changes anything.

Some additional information (for the questions above). They do not use SharePoint at this site.
