Exchange 2007 - mailbox permission inheritance
Hello, can anybody explain me how exactly mailbox permission inheritance works? Why I have some mailbox with permission like this: NT AUTHORITY\SELF CONTOSO\journaling_mailbox CONTOSO\Exch01$ CONTOSO\Exchange Servers CONTOSO\Domain Admins CONTOSO\Enterprise Admins CONTOSO\Exchange Organization Administrators CONTOSO\Exchange Servers CONTOSO\Exchange Public Folder Administrators NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE CONTOSO\Exchange Servers CONTOSO\Exchange View-Only Administrators CONTOSO\Exchange Organization Administrators CONTOSO\Enterprise Admins CONTOSO\Domain Admins And some mailbox with permission like this: NT AUTHORITY\SELF Next question is why, if I have permission like this below I haven't Full Access permission to this mailbox? User: CONTOSO\myUsername AccessRights: {FullAccess, DeleteItem, ReadPermission, ChangePermission, ChangeOwner} IsInherited: True Deny: False Where from is inherited permission read? Thank you very much, Petr
