I can provide remote desktop access to the server to troubleshoot.

Have you checked if the IISAdmin service is running on the server? Also, check if the Microsoft Active Directory Topology service is runningMilind Naphade | MCTS:M (Exchange 2007 and 2010) |

Is this issue resolved? Check the AD topology service, IIS, Transport and Information store service.

Hi Jag,
Do you make any change to exchange server before restarting the exchange server?
I recommend you first try to start the following services in order:
1. Microsoft Exchange system Attentdant
2. Microsoft Exchange Adtive Directory Topology service
3. Microsoft Exchange Information Store
4. Microsft Exchange Tranport
What's result?
If
the problem is urgent and requires a faster response and resolution, you can call Microsoft Exchange Phone Support Team. Please submit a request from the following link:

Hi All
Thanks for you input
The issue was due to missing partition. The exchange server and files were stored under D: drive. After server restart the whole D: drive was missing and showing former D: partition as free space. USed some partition recovery software to recover the missing
parition and exchange server running fine now.
But I still have the following issue. I get 100s of them every minute to event logger
Event Type: Error
Event Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox Store

hi,
Can you check if the recipient mailbox stated in the event description is disabled or locked-out. If it is disabled, then, enabling / un-locking the user account mailbox should solve the issue.
Hope it helps!

you can also check to see when the event is logged. it might be due to mailbox quota settings. you can check this technet knowledge base on how to set the mailbox quota limits.
