I am trying to install the Exchange 2007 management tools, 32-bit, on my Backup Exec server. The Backup server is Server 2003 SP2. The server has the latest OS patches. The MMC is version 3.0, .NET 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 SP1 are installed on the server. When I run the Exchange setup, it shows that all of the prereqs have been met. The Exchange setup does not create any setup log at all. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Are you loading the setup from a network share or locally from the computer? Can you try to install on another "like" server? Can you redownload the binaries and run locally?Tim Harrington - Catapult Systems - http://HowDoUC.blogspot.com

I tried to install both over a network share and from the local disk, same results. I also tried to install the same binaries on a different server and it worked OK on the other server. I will try to download the binaries again and try that. Thanks. Larry
