I'm attempting to install the Exchange Management Tools to a Windows Server 2003 server. I've tried running setup.exe and setup.com /mode:install /role:mt. Under both situations, I receive the error message "Exchange Server Setup encountered an error".I have Exchange 2007 installed in the forest and in the domain in which this server resides. Yes, all prerequisites are installed. Server is W2k3 SP2

What does the log files located in C:\ExchangeSetupLogs directory say?lasse at humandata dot se, http://anewmessagehasarrived.blogspot.com

Please check the installation log, which would help for troubleshooting Exchange 2007 setup logs and how to use them to troubleshoot setup

Upon restarting the server, the installation proceeded normally. It appears there was a half-broken install already in place. Thanks for your help
