Exchange 2007 : Calendar sharing and domain trusts
Hello, Here is the situation : Exchange is in forest/domain hq.local another forest/domain hq2.local uses linked mailboxes on hq.local We have two users A and B on hq2.local that would like to share calendars. (the corresponding linked mailboxes in hq.local are tied to the users A' and B' How is it possible to make it work ? Give rights on the calendar of A specifiying B (does not seem to work) or Give rights on the calendar of A specifiying B' (the account of the linked mailbox on hq.local) Thank you for your assistance !

I do not believe that you can grant folder-level rights the way you're asking. It would be possible to grant full mailbox rights, however, but that's a lot more than you're asling for. To grant full mailbox rights, create a two-way full domain trust between the two domains. The in the mailbox rights of UserB, grant DOMAINA\UserA Full Mailbox Access right, and vice-versa. Then each user can log on to the mailbox of the other. Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hello RodV, If these two users are using the same Exchange Server in hq.local, you can follow this way to do that: Exchange 2007 Linked Mailboxes and Shared Calendars http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/exchangesvrclients/thread/6C88569D-E693-46F4-A8FA-E1F9E5B6234E Thanks, Evan Liu TechNet Subscriber Supportin forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com Evan Liu TechNet Community Support
