Exchange 2007 : Client Access Role Installation Error
Hello,an error occured when installing Exchange 2007 on Windows 2003 x64 SP2, in an existing Exchange 2003 organisation.here is the error displayed by the setup :

CancelledFirst i thaught that it was a problem with ASP.NET 2.0 component on IIS but I verified and reinstalled The ASP Service extention and it didn't change anything.Has someone any Idea ? Thanks

I have had similar problems before and had to remove IIS complete. Delete the folders attached to the Virtual directory (sometimes they are not removed) and then reload IIS.
did you load IIS on the server before you loaded ASP.net ?
If not.. then .net does not enable all that needs to be enable before you do the exchange installation...

Thanks, I did the same to solve my problem :
1- Remove and reinstall IIS2- Verify that asp.net 2.0 and 3.0 are available3- Launch Exchange 2007 Setup to remove the Client Access Role (to force the installation to restart from the begining and not to resume from last stopping point)4- Install Exchange 2007 Client Acces Role.I didn't identify that the problem could comes from the order of installation between .NET framework and IIS, but i think your right and IIS must be installed BEFORE asp.net.If someone as a solution to activate asp.net without uninstalling IIS, it should be great.Thanks a lot
