I would recommend to update Exchange and Exchange Rollup Updatesseparatelyfrom Windows OSupdates.
Also manual install of Exchange Update Rollups would be the best bet...Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Hi,
For the critical/important class updates, you need to install all of them. For Exchange 2007 update, I agree with Amit, you'd better download the package and install it separately.
Thanks,
Elvis

Yes, it is alwaysrecommendedto install all critical updates of Windows to close the security loop holes...
For Exchange, it is alwaysrecommendedto apply latest Update Rollups (after testing it on test server if possible)...Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
