Exchange 2007 Admin Tools in Vista SP1
Now that Vista SP1 is out I am not able to install the Exchange 2007 admin tools on my system. I have been able to install the new Windows 2008 Admin tools, however I can not get the Exchange 2007 admin tools to install.
Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I stopped trying to install server management tools on desktops a long time ago because of constant frustrations like this (I just use a centralize administration server I remote desktop into with all the tools on it).
However are you trying to install the EMC from 2007 RTM media or 2007 SP1 media?
Also what is the error it gives you?

Rant Begin:
This is where I get a little annoyed at how Microsoft works. They release a new product, Exchange 2007, but the management tools do not work on Vista. It is posted that it will work on Vista SP1, yet this was not released for over a year. Now, I have Vista SP1, and Exchange 2007 and it says the tools can not be installed on this version of Windows.
I do not have th Exchange 2007 SP1 RTM disk, but we are at Exchange 2007 SP1 and I have SP1 as a single download.
I just installed the Windows 2008 Admin tools last week as for the past year I have had to RD into all servers for admin fucntions becuase for some reason Microsoft would not update the Server 2003 tools to support Vista.
And Microsoft wounders why more people don't move to Vista, this is one reason as you have to work with one arm behind your back in order to admin anything.

Ok, I do not have the Exchange 2007 SP1 media, but can download it. Does this work on Vista SP1?

Ive got the new Exchange 2007 SP1 Tools running on Vista SP1, just use the Exchange 2007 SP1 Download and install the prerequisites like you would for Exchange, but when the options for installing Exchange Roles comes up, just install the management tools and youll be all set. (Download the correct bit version for the Vista Box, not Exchange for example I run Vista 32bit but my Exchange is running 64bit, I would need to download the 32bit version pretty self explanatory but I thought I would add it).
Keep in mind the Exchange Tabs for the RSAT (Remote Server Administration Tools) are not yet a feature.
