Exchange 2007 BPA has several errors referenced to old Exchange 2003
I'm having some serious issues with exchange 2007 on SBS2008, so I ran BPA which has several errors shown below. But when I seek through ADSI Edit, I cannot find any references to the Old Server (SBS2003) which has been shutdown. Please help. Organization: First Organization Offline address book site public folder deleted The public folder store where the site offline address book is hosted has been deleted. Current public folder store: CN=Public Folder Store (OldServer)\0ADEL:74f9f441-39f7-401c-95c0-603821ec912d,CN=Deleted Objects,CN=Configuration,DC=MyDomain,DC=local. Admin Group: first administrative group Site folder server deleted The site-wide public folder database for administrative group 'first administrative group' has been deleted. Admin Group: first routing group Routing master has been deleted The nominated routing group master for routing group 'first routing group' has been deleted. This may cause mail flow problems. Cannot connect to port 25 of the routing group master Server OldServer\0ADEL:4b84b9fb-d938-4b72-b4fe-ce85b3c517d7 is a routing group master but a connection to port 25 cannot be established from the workstation where this tool is running. Followed the article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996485%28EXCHG.80%29.aspx and tried to look at: CN=Configuration,DC=<DomainName>,DC=com, CN=Services, CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=<OrganizationName>, CN=Administrative Groups, CN=<AdministrativeGroupName> CN=Servers, CN=<ServerName>, CN=InformationStore, CN=<StorageGroupName> But I don't have DC=com, instead have DC=local, and it's all empty after CN=Configuration,DC=<DomainName>,DC=local, CN=Services, CN=Microsoft Exchange, CN=<First Organization>, CN=Administrative Groups, CN=<first administrative group> CN=Servers

Hello, Your current Exchange 2007 is in the second Administrative Group which is separated from the Exchange 2003 Administrative Group. Since the old Exchange 2003 server was retired, you do not need to worry about the error reports about the Exchange 2003 server, First Administrative Group and the Routing Groups. Thanks, Simon
