Exchange 2007 Beta 2 and Windows Sharepoint Services v3 on same box
I have both of the mentioned products installed on one test server in a separate test domain. I was trying to enable SharePoint sites to receive incoming mail. Exchange server roles installed are the four default ones. My problem is: To enable WSS to receive incoming mail it has to be able to access the drop folder of SMTP service. SMTP service has been removed and hidden in Add/Remove Windows Components, so I can't install it - that happened after installing E2K7 Beta 2, probably because SMTP should be installed on Edge server. So basically I'm stuck. I can't intall IIS SMTP service and I can't install Edge Transport role on this server. Even if I manage to get another test machine to install Edge (or maybe install it in Virtual Server, supported??) will it be possible to even set "drop" folder? Does E2K7 have this feature? Thank you, regards
