Exchange 2007 Beta Installation Failed on Active Directory
In the setup of exchange 2007 Beta 2 i get a error:
Error log ExchangeSetup.log:

- Active Directory runs good and fine.
- There is only 1 dc and 1 domain name , and 1 tree /forest
I have try tot prepare the ad from de CLI with:
setup /PrepareSchema
setup /PrepareAD
setup /PrepareDomain (i also get the warning that i must run PrepareAD to make a good installation).
Is it also possible to make a 32bits installation (See event) ?

Well, the problem appears to be a failure to contact Active Directory, so the first things I would look at are DNS and the network settings.

I am getting hte same error and i am trying to install ON the DC that is the question... thumper.quest.demo IS the DC and i am trying to install 2007 TO that server locally...
that does not sound like any dns resolution problem

Did you ever figure out what this error was? I am experiencing the issue on teh DC/GC.
