Hi CDP5369, The issue cause: These messages are generated by System Attendant and sent to a Public folder to be published as Free/Busy data when someone using legacy versions of Outlook 2003 or exchange 2003 updates their calendar. And for the issue, there is no way to prevent these messages from being sent to the journaling mailbox. This is being considered for Exchange 14. Regards!Gavin TechNet Community Support

Hi Gavin, thank you for your reply. There are some thing that sounds strange to me - we do not have any Exchange 2003 server in our organization (flat enviroment with one server) - I'm quite sure that there are no outlook 2003 ... but maybe - The emails it's just about one week that come up ..... - I see that stopping IIS (where owa runs) stops the email and after the restart it takes about two hours from reciveing them Thank you for your suggestion. Carlo p.s. during the week end I've upgraded to Exchane SP3 update roll up 6 Grazie - Thank you Ciao Carlo

Hi Gavin, I'm 90% sure that there are no outlook 2003. However there are some (aboute 15 iphone/ipad and some blackberry managed with BES server on anther server) mobile users, that's why I've tried stopping OWA via IIS. As I told you during the week end I've updated the system, also windowsupd the server ... I check the system and from 9 am to 1 pm I've just recieved 3 emails from server to sa Thank You Carlo p.s. grazie means thank you in italian! (don't worry!) and ciao is for bye :-) Grazie - Thank you Ciao Carlo

Hi CDP5369, Could you please check whether there are Public Folder in you ORG, per my know, it seems a issue. It is better to Avoid journaling F/B sync messages. Regards!Gavin TechNet Community Support
