After Removing the Mailbox role from both node i have ConFigured the New Cluster Named E2K7MBX01 as os Cluster and after that i have install exchange CCR cluster on my node-1 and node-2 named E2K7MBX and it working fine. Now the Problem is that when i am starting the Exchange Management Console (EMC) The Old Mailbox Cluster Show there with it's Mailboxes (E2K7MBX01). I want to Delete this Old CCR Cluster name From EMC. is it Possible if Yes then what is the prosidure to remove it. please give me the help to solve this issue

Hi, Check the schema configuration part with ADSIEDIT. Probably there is still an object that points to the old mailbox cluster. Greetzz, Timmy

Hi, You can try to remove it from AD if its not removed, try this : Remove the Exchange 2007 server from Active Directory. I ended up deleting the entire “Microsoft Exchange” branch from ADSIEdit (Configuration Container > Services > Microsoft Exchange) as my Org only counts one server. You have to preform the same on DC Ripu Daman Mina | MCSE 2003 & MCSA Messaging

EMC gets all the information from the schema... Maybe you should check the replication of the dc's? Did you check the schema on the dc that is the logon server of the machine where you run EMC? Greetzz, Timmy

Hi, Just delete it. Since you don't use it anymore you normaly can just delete it. But verify it first.. are there more than one object in that container? greetzz, Timmy

I presume there is nothing more attached to that old object (E2K7MBX01). Than you can just delete it. If you are not sure about deleting... move it somewhere out of the servers container. Greetzz, Timmy

No you don't have to delete it on both locations. The other dc will get the changes by replication.. Greetzz, Timmy
