Exchange 2007 CCR on Windows 2008 Cluster Fails to install
All, I've made a bone-head move and incorrectly removed a CCR cluster from my environment (no production mailboxes on it) for some SAN maintenance. I know I should have moved the role to the passive node and then back while maintaining the cluster now... but I am past that point. When I try to install an Active Node in a CCR cluster I get The operation could not be performed because object 'CCR CLUSTER NAME' could not be found on domain controller 'domain fqdn' Any assistance would be appreciated greatly. Thanks!

What exactly did you do when you "removed a ccr cluster". Did you delete the Windows Cluster and Clustered Mailbox Server computer objects from Active Directory manually? kavin ,What you have done that i understand is that you have now only passive node remain ,so by using this tutorials you have to move-cms to this passive node and convert it into a active node and then you install the passive node.Just go through it ,http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb691138.aspxin this all errors specifications are also there .http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124710.aspxRegards Syed Arsalan .syed.arsalan
