Exchange 2007 Impersonation
Hi All, Can I check, is Exchange 2007 support Impersonation? Or is there any Microsoftarticle (eg. document, KB, link and etc)that talk about this? Searching about this info but could not find any. Appreciate if could provide some input. Thank you,

Hello, Yes Exchange 2007 support Impersonation via Exchange Web Service but you need to configure it before using. Below reference articles would help you. Hi Amit, Thank you for your reply. Just to clarify my scenario here about Impersonation. I have an application install that need to access exchange (not exchange web access). The application design was to use the existing login account to access Exchange or to specify another account. If I tried to specify another account (not the one that I am login in), this will failed. So, can I check, in this situation, is the "Impersonation" can be done here (which mean, login with accountA but access Exchange 2007 with using accountB credential)? Thank you,

Hello, What does "Access Exchange 2007"mean? Can you elaborate it more? If you say login with accountA but you want to access mailbox of accountA with the credential of accountB then accountB requires Full Access of accountAs mailbox. If you want to give full access to accountB on few mailboxes then you can use Add-MailboxPermission cmdlet. Add-MailboxPermission http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124097(EXCHG.80).aspx But you want to give full access to accountB on all the mailboxes of a server then check below article FAQ: Access on All the Mailboxes of a Server - Exchange2007 http://exchangeshare.wordpress.com/2008/09/05/faq-access-on-all-the-mailboxes-of-a-server-exchange-2007/
