Hi,Thanks for reply. No problem with the DNS settings in my TCP/IP,in my preferred dns nd alternate,it was pointed to my DCs that is holding DNS Server role. It can resolved to NSLOOKUP,NLTEST,Echo *logonserver*and ping to the DC. Netdiag and DCDiag is also ok. I read some article that it is related to a corrupt profile and done what was advise but none avail.Been resolving nd figuring it out for a week now.THanks,LRMCP

HI, I assume you are trying install exchange on member server.I will suggest below Steps. 1)Dis-join from domain and re-join it. 2)Create new user with proper credentials and try to install using that user. 3)If doesn't work above steps ,install doing right click and run as administrator option. Regards

Hi,Please verify if you have anyWindows 2003 Sever sp1 domain controller in the environment. For Exchange Server 2007,we need at least one Windows Server 2003 sp1. Some of this domains are not contactable but the error stops on the domain that is live / contactable. I tried to unjoin the my exchange box and joined it to one of the child domain and starts the AD/Schema/DC preparation there but still no avail. I uninstall the .net and reinstall it again if this is a .net issues but it seems not. Well, another week is quite un-acceptable for this proj. Please help if there's something i miss. Regards, LRMCP

Did you try by running Exchange Setup /prepare* command directly on Domain Controller which holds Schema Master role? If that DC is 32bit then you can download 32bit version of Exchange 2007 setup and run on it.

Hi,
1. Check NIC settings on Exchange Server. If the valid NIC is on the top order.
How to change the binding order of network adapters in Windows XP and in Windows 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894564
2. Please try to remove childdomain7.mydomain.com from AD via Ntdsutil since they are not alive or unreachable. You can follow the steps in article below:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/230306 3. Please try to connect these DC from Root DC via ADUC to see if the connection between these DCs are normally. Also you can run Netdiag from Root DC to see if any error would logged there.Regards,Xiu

Hi Xiu,Thanks for the reply. The NIC is already on Top, i've done this previously. Thechildomain7.mydomain.com is alive and contactable domain, can connect using ADUC,and NetDiag from Root DC is OK except DCDiag from Root to Childomain7, it shows "No network provider accepted the given network path"... Im working ondcdiag result, if this is an issue on installation.Regards,LRMCP

Hi All,This issue is mostly on AD problem. Setting-up Exchange 2007 in Multi-Subdomains should consider the following:
1. Root Domains and its sub-domain does not have replication problem. In my case, there are sub-domains has missing records in my Master Schema.
2. Verify that all domainsin the forest are live and contacablein PORT 389, should there be a case that you reformat or demote your DC's make sure that all metadata in AD related to this domain/dc are removed either using NDSUTIL/ADSIEDIT.3.
