Exchange 2007 SP1.... I currently have the Organizational limit at the default 20 MB, which is fine but I would like to raise the amount considerably for messages sent between internal users. I thought I could just change the users' individual mailbox settings and that would override any other Organizational limits, but I still get the "Attachment size exceeds the allowable limit" error after making the changes so I'm guessing I will have to make them elsewhere. Again, I only want to increase the message limits for internal message. Any help you could provide would be much appreciated. Thanks,

I read the documentation but I'm still getting the error message "Attachment size exceeds the allowable limit." I have the maxsend and maxreceive at the Org level at 20 MB. I have increased the maxsend and receive at the individual mailbox level and then restarted the Transport services but as I mentioned I still get the error. Based on the documentation, I thought the individual mailbox level would override the Hub Transport settings at the Org level. Do I need to do anything on the client side for these settings to take effect? I have tried restarting Outlook, just wondering if there's anything else I'm missing.

Ok, I restarted the client machine and now attachments are following the mailbox limit and not the Org limit. Thanks!!
