Exchange 2007 Journalling - nothing appearing in Journalling mailbox
I've noticed recently that the mailbox on our Exchange 2007 server designated as the Journaling recipient is no longer collecting email. I've checked the Mailbox Database properties, Journaling is still enabled, and the correct mailbox is selected. I can't figure out why mail is no longer being copied to the Journaling mailbox. We have recently recovered our Mailbox Database from backup due to a failure, this ties in with that situation, however other than checking and unchecking Journaling on the Mailbox Database properties, and checking the Journaling mailbox is functioning as expected (I can log Outlook onto it and send and receive mail) I don't know what else to check. Appreciate any assistance.

Hi 1. You can create new Journaling Rule restart transport services and test it again. 2. In Exchange 2007 all Hub Transport servers contain a transport agent called the journaling agent. You can configure it to journal e-mail messages that are sent or received by individual users or by various departments within or outside the exchange organization. If all the messages that pass through the Hub transport, match the defined criteria that was configured in the journal rule, a journal report will be created and delivered to the Journaling Mailbox. 3. If it doesn’t work, you can create transport rule instead of Journaling Rule.
