Exchange 2007 Logs not being flushed after full backup
The logs are not being flushed. I assume this has to do with SCR. I had SCR set up, but then disabled it as we are making major changes to our exchange env and I dont want anything replicated right now. Since I disabled SCR it looks like the logs are not being flushed. Can anyone help me with this? Can I remove all SCR settings so Exchange will allow the logs to be deleted after a full backup?Thanks and Happy New Year/Holidays to All!

Hi,
Please double check whether the SCR has been disabled by referring following steps:
In ADSIEdit, go to the properties of the Storage Group that will not truncate logs.
CN=Configuration\CN=Services\CN=Microsoft Exchange\CN=<org name>\CN=Administrative Groups\CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT)\CN=Servers\CN=<Servername>\CN=InformationStore\CN=<Storage Group Name>
Scroll down to the attribute msExchStandbyCopyMachines
Note if this attribute is populated with a value that corresponds to the old SCR target machine name. Edit the value, and clear out the non-existent machine name. Then, please perform Full Backup of the Storage Group again.

Thanks Mike - I went to msExchStandbyCopyMachines - and there is no value there. In fact, msExchStandbyCopyMachines, did not exist at all. I tried running a NT backup of the storage group and it did not clear the logs either. Are there specific event id's I can look for?I did find - 9827 MsExchangeIS Cat: Exchange VSSWriter
Exchange VSS Writer (instance 7bb7c9f8-ba11-41bc-ae1a-840bcc7392ae:24) has successfully completed the full or incremental backup of replicated storage group 'First Storage Group'. The log files will be truncated after they have been replayed.
