Exchange 2007 Mailbox search error
I am attempting to search an Exchange Server 2007 mailbox database for certain words to fullfil a data request. I am running the command:
get-mailbox -Database "Mailbox Database" | Export-Mailbox -SubjectKeywords "SOME WORDS" -TargetMailbox Administrator -TargetFolder 'SEARCHRESULTS'
All of the searched mailboxes return the error:
ErrorCode="-1056749164">Error occurred in the step: Moving messages. Failed to copy messages to the destination mailbox store with error: MAPI or an unspecified service provider. ID no: 00000000-0000-00000000
I thought this might be a permission problem and soI gave permission to "Domain Admins" for each users mailbox. The result is still the same.
Any ideas?
Many thanks in advance, for any replies.

Hi,
Its most likely a permissions issue - admins are by default deniedaccess touser mailboxes.
This thread should help: http://groups.google.dk/group/microsoft.public.exchange.admin/browse_thread/thread/bcd93a41944324ac/79f64fdfec25c264?lnk=st&q=1056749164#79f64fdfec25c264

Thanks for the reply Leif.
I've run the command:
Get-MailboxDatabase -identity "EXCHANGESERVERNAME\First Storage Group\Mailbox Database" | Add-ADPermission -user "DOMAINNAME\Domain Admins" -ExtendedRights Receive-As, Send-As
The command is accepted and works.
I've also edited each mailbox "Manage Send As Permissions" permissions by adding "Domain Admins"
Neither has worked :-(. Oddly, some old mailboxes that are now unused and migrated from our old 2003 server (not all though) are working fine. Permissions are the same. Weird!!!
Ben.

Hi,
Domain admins by default have denied access to send as - and this permission overrides the permission you are configuring.
