Exchange 2007 Meeting Forward Notification time issues
Sorry if this may be a duplicate post but I haven't come across an answer that fits an issue one of our customs has...In the customer's Exchange environment, we have 3 physical server locations. Servers in the UK are set in the GMT time zone.A user located in the Central Europe time zone forwards a meeting request to another user in the same time zone. They receive the meeting forward notification and in the body of the message the time of the meeting is offset by 1 hour earlier. The time zone indicates GMT. In attempting to reproduce the user's issue, I setup my regional settings to match the user's settings. I created a test meeting and then forwarded it to another recipient.I also get the Meeting Forward Notification and see that the time is offset by 1 hour earlier. But in my test conditions, my time zone is set to GMT+1:00.XXXXXXXX has forwarded your meeting request to additional recipients.MeetingTest

All times listed are in the following time zone: (GMT+01:00) Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna________________________________________Sent by Microsoft Exchange Server 2007The message notification is generated by Exchange, the servers are in the UK, so it makes sense that the time is GMT and depending upon the regional settings, the time zone should reflect this. But in my tests, I don't undersstand why the time zone is GMT+1:00.What makes matters are little more confusing is that the MeetingForwardNotificationEnabled is set to False for the remote domain. And I also set the RemoveMeetingForwardNotifications to True for my account. If anyone has any suggestions for why the time zone information in the notification is inaccurate or why we even get the notice to begin with, I'd appreciate it...
