Hi , No,I believeI haven't. All i'm trying to achive is to have the managment tools installed on this 2k3 server, I'm not installing any active role.Are the commands you listed a requirement of the managment tools?

Sorry I have been though both these links, neither refer to the error Im receiving off this Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x64 server. It meets all the prerequisites. Looks like setup source has some problem. ~ Remove C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server directory. ~ Download the fresh x64 setup source from Microsoft site and try with it. Thanks, I re-downloaded the x64 setup however I had the exact same problem, but I was looking in the right area now.I copied the following files from a successful install on another machine and denied the problem server access to the internet to download updates before install. ExBPA.config.xml ExBPA.E12.Transport.xml ExBPA.PreReqs.xml ExBPA.Readiness.xml ExBPA.Transport.xml Problem is solved, installation was successful. Thanks for everyones help.
