Exchange 2007 SP1 - EXCDO errors
Hi guys,after a melt down of our network yesterday, we started seeing alot of these in the event logs:I've been removing the calendar entries that it displaying but is this the best way to deal with these?Event Type:WarningEvent Source:EXCDOEvent Category:General Event ID:8230Date:4/12/2009Time:9:01:59 a.m.User:N/AComputer:APNAPNAKLESM002Description:An inconsistency was detected in firstname.lastname@domin.com: /Calendar/Cancelled%%3A christmas get together.EML. Hi Guys,Thanks for the help here......Raj I haven't upgraded out servers to SP2 rollout 1 yet as we are in a change freeze and I also haven't yet recreated the accounts which are showing the errors. I did check the KB article ( thanks Chinthaka) but the legacyExchangeDN checks out ok.I also checked the for the missingSystemAttendantDNregistry key as mentioned in KB article 3104440 but that also looks ok.In short I'm still getting a "few" of these erros EXCDO.Thanks

Hi,What's version of the Exchange server? If it is Exchange 2000, please try the below hotfix:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/821293If not, please try to use Outlook client and OWA to open the mailbox of the user identified by event 8230, then locate the calendar item and delete it. If that doesn't resolve this issue, we might need to re-create the mailbox.ThanksAllen
