Exchange 2007 SP1 Journaling Storage
We are in the process of planning deployment for a new Exchange Server 2007 SP1. I am planning on having 4 databases and 4 storage groups. If I want to enable journaling on each database or storage group (basically to archive all emails). Is it best to create one new storage group and user to send the journaled emails to? Or should I have 4 Journaling users on separate storage groups? We want to archive emails for 2 years.
Thanks
David

Due to the performance impact of journaling the journal accounts should be on there own server. How you want to split up the jounaling duties is more of a personal preference. I used 1 store and account for the journal, which made it easier to search and retrieve messages (I didn't have any real ediscovery tools back then).David.
