Exchange 2007 SP1 calendar backup
Hi all, I have a question regarding exchange calendar. This is the situation which I found here, upgrade from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008 was performed (not by the book, many steps are not probably performed), so after that from SBS 2008 sharepoint and WSUS was removed. I have only 7 users, they are using shared calendar. Also they share contacts (address book) through public folder. And they use IMAP for mail. Also, they all have laptops which are not in domain, so they are using domain account only for VPN and Outlook. Since , at least I think so, it is easier to reinstall SBS 2008 , than to reinstall WSUS, WSS , and repair Exchange (which is still looking for old SBS 2k3) I need somehow to backup calendar, and shared contacts. Any ideas ?? If I install everything and create new users, when they open outlook, they will have to configure account which will be completely empty. For mail is not a problem since they use IMAP. I am not sure if simple export/import from Microsoft outlook will do the trick and backup/restore calendar and contacts Thanks

Hi, For exchange 2007 you can use export-pst command for all user, but for that outlook should be installed on that system, have a look into this article: http://www.msexchange.org/articles_tutorials/exchange-server-2007/management-administration/exchange-2007-sp1-mailbox-management-part1.html http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb266964(EXCHG.80).aspxRipu Daman Mina | MCSE 2003 & MCSA Messaging

Hi, Please try to logon the user mailbox via OWA or MFCmapi to check if any item has been left in the mailbox. Regards, Xiu
